Hi Paula!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for sharing such an interesting resource as Nearpod. This is a clear example of how the teaching and learning process can be improved using ICT resources.
Although I haven't had the opportunity to use this tool in my classroom yet, I am looking forward to doing so. I think it can be a wonderful resource to promote reasoning and critical thinking in our students. Moreover, we must not forget that we live in a society that is constantly changing and where the pace of life is very fast, so these types of videos can help students to pay more attention to the content. Moreover, I believe that this tool can be used individually, in pairs, in small groups and in the whole group. In fact, don't you think it is a great resource to implement the active methodology of the Flipped Classroom?
Thank you for your work!

ReplyDeleteHi Paula, I didn´t know about Nearpod, so thank you very much for sharing. I have been exploring the software and I have found very useful for the little ones some of the features such as simple activities like classifying words. Sometimes with computers is quite difficult for them to work "autonomously" and this kind of resource is perfect. Actually, Nearpod has a massive range of possibilities. I am looking forward to testing them in real practice with the students.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Elisabet,
Hello, dear Paula! Thanks for sharing this wonderful tool! I've just discovered it now. It reminded me to another similar tool called "Socrative" (I share you the link here in case you want to check it out https://www.socrative.com/). In this tool, the teacher can put a video and ask some questions about it. The most interesting part of this tool is you can see the answers of your students, so it is easy to asses their progress in real time.
ReplyDeleteWell, thanks again for your ideas on this blog. I really enjoyed discovering new instruments to work in class!
Best, Coral.
