Good afternoon my dear colleagues.
Today I want to present you the webquest Quizizz
For this activity, I prepared a Quizziz with information about arctic animals.
Why? The winter and cold, it's almost here, and it's nice know about winter animals in all the countries, how they are, what they eat, which type of animal is...
How? I will present every week three new winter animals. In this case I present you the arctic animals, but can be animals from everywhere.
Once they know all the animals, we will make a group and by the lottery they will have to prepare a presentation about the animals they get and do a presentation to all the class.
Group class: 6th primary
With this activity, they will learn about the different skills, speaking, reading, writing and listening.

Dear readers, what do you think about do presentations in primary school?
Hello!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful approach to integrating Quizizz into your classroom, especially with the fascinating theme of arctic animals! It's fantastic to see how you're combining technology, exploration of winter topics, and collaborative learning.
The weekly introduction of three new winter animals keeps the anticipation high, and the group presentation aspect adds an exciting dimension. The lottery system for selecting animals for presentation is a great way to keep things fair and spontaneous.
I completely agree with the idea that presentations can be incredibly beneficial in primary school. They not only enhance speaking skills but also contribute to the development of reading, writing, and listening skills. Moreover, presentations encourage students to research and understand their chosen topics thoroughly.
I'd love to hear more about the students' reactions and experiences with the Quizizz activity. Keep up the fantastic work!
Best regards,
Cristina
